Raid on St. Nazaire

Solitaire World War Two simulation of the March 28, 1942, British commando raid on the German-occupied French port of St. Nazaire. Players move British boats and the destroyer HMS Campbeltown, camouflaged as a German ship, toward their landing areas while resolving fire from harbor defenses. After landing, commandos advance on submarine pens, caissons, docked ships, supply tanks, and other targets to destroy them. German guards enter through random placement and move toward the nearest British unit, becoming stronger and more organized as the raid progresses. The game ends when all British units are killed or escape, with the score based on targets destroyed.
