Santander '37

A tactical hex-and-counter simulation of the 1937 Nationalist offensive in northern Spain. Players alternate full turns in an “I go, You go” sequence, moving and fighting over terrain and victory-point hexes while managing unit status and resources. The Nationalist side must seize key hexes and push Republican morale into defeat conditions, while the Republican side tries to hold ground and preserve morale. Morale and victory points are combined into a single track that dictates win/lose thresholds. Unit disorganization, revised setup, and modified asset/resource rules influence maneuver, combat outcomes, and operational planning.
