Tokaido: Collector's Edition

Players take the roles of travelers progressing along the historic East Sea Road of Japan, moving their figures from spot to spot to experience scenes and collect achievements. On each turn a player advances to an empty space ahead, then resolves that space’s action to gain items, visit inns and hot springs, collect panorama cards, purchase souvenirs, or draw encounter cards. The Collector’s Edition bundles the base game with its Crossroads expansion and additional character and miniature options, adding new encounter types, lucky charms, calligraphy, and alternate character tiles. Scoring at the end of the journey compares collected sets, completed panoramas, encounters, and money to determine the winner.
