18C2C: Continental Empires
This 18xx game covers the United States, Canada, and Mexico, with forty railroad companies operating across two large map sheets. Players buy and sell shares in alternating stock rounds, while corporations build infrastructure, run routes, and may pay dividends during operating rounds. A development round allows players to shape the map before operations begin. The game includes reservation auctions for private companies, partial capitalization, company destinations, share redemption, mergers, and player-driven city upgrades. Steam trains trace routes through the map, while Diesel trains use an abstract system based on cities containing company stations. After the final round, the player with the greatest combined stock value and cash wins.
