1822CA
A large 18xx covering the Canadian rail network from coast to coast, reusing and expanding the 1822 system with a bigger map and many more companies. Play alternates between stock rounds, where players buy and sell shares and compete to be directors, and operating rounds, where directors run their companies: lay track, place stations, operate trains on routes, manage dividends or treasury, and buy rolling stock. The game changes cadence after the first 2-train is bought, increasing operating rounds between stock rounds and ending with an extended final set when the bank breaks. Game end and victory are determined by stock market triggers, bank insolvency, and final net worth (stock value plus cash); the highest total wins.
