Two independently playable designs revisit mid-19th-century Swiss and Austrian railway development with an 18xx-style economic and operational system. The Swiss game focuses on operating a mix of local and national rail companies, building routes through mountain terrain with tunnels and special locomotives, managing private companies, and meeting destination conditions that unlock capital for some firms. The Austrian game adds a stock-split mechanic and a secondary map for the Steyr region; it otherwise shares mergers, dual locomotive types, mountain routes, tunnels, and private company interactions common to both designs. Players buy and sell shares, run and upgrade railways, and merge companies while navigating route-building constraints and financial timing.
