Political game for six set during the Reformation and Counter-Reformation, 1532-1555. England, France, the Ottoman Empire, the Hapsburgs, the Pope, and the German Lutherans pursue competing religious, political, and military objectives across Europe. Players manage armies and resources while using missionaries, conversion, theological debates, excommunication, taxation, treaties, alliances, truces, and territorial concessions. Shifting relationships and hidden, variable victory conditions shape the struggle for influence, with the Hapsburgs facing pressure from several directions.
