Advanced Squad Leader: Starter Kit #1

Introduces the core infantry and terrain rules from the Advanced Squad Leader system through an abbreviated, illustrated rulebook and a set of six self-contained scenarios. Players command individual men, half-squads and squads on two included geomorphic mapboards, moving units, resolving fire and assaults, and managing terrain effects and line of sight using the provided counters, charts and dice. Scenarios use a two-minute-per-turn scale and can be played as a stand-alone simplified system or migrated to the full Advanced Squad Leader rules. Playtime varies by scenario and supports two players or solitaire play.
