Altar Quest

Players each take on a unique hero with personal cards and equipment and work together to complete a chosen quest deck while facing an opposing threat deck and a separate villain deck. Modular, fixed decks are selected and combined to create different scenarios, with an additional lurker deck introducing assorted enemies throughout the game. A set of altar dice represents mutable magical “rhunes”; dice are rolled when used by either heroes or foes to generate changing magical effects that modify cards and outcomes. Play supports single scenarios or linked campaign-style play, emphasizing tactical card play, resource management, and cooperative combat.
