Among Cultists: A Social Deduction Thriller
Players join a secret society at a university where hidden cultists work to summon a malevolent force while investigators try to stop them. Each player is dealt a secret role as Investigator or Cultist and moves around a modular board to trigger events, take actions, and resolve encounters. Investigators earn victory points or attempt to identify and vote out cultists; cultists covertly sabotage, misdirect, and eliminate investigators. The game runs on a timed ten-round structure that shapes tension between completing objectives and maintaining cover.

Màrius10.0 Soy muy fan de los juegos de roles ocultos y este no es una excepción. Las partidas me aseguran muchas acusaciones, discusiones, puñaladas y sobre todo muchas risas. Aunque es sencillo de jugar, no es tan sencillo jugarlo bien y te hará pensar y dudar mucho a medida que vayas viendo los diferentes acontecimientos. Tanto si el equipo de cultistas, como el equipo de investigadores, comenten errores, estarán dando mucha ventaja al otro equipo, así que las partidas con gente poco acostumbrada a este tipo de juego pueden provocar un final precipitado. Por ejemplo, creo que un error que puede ser común es empezar la partida sin intentar evitar encuentros, ja que si lo hace el cultista lo descubrirán rápido, y si lo hacen los investigadores darán mucha ventaja al cultista, que podrá actuar mientras pasa desapercibido debido al resto de encuentros. Creo que hay que ser conservador y evitar los encuentros y que sea al cultista al que le entre la prisa para provocar los encuentros. Para mi gusto un juego genial, aunque mejor jugarlo con gente con cierta experiencia ya en la mecánica.
