Empire's End
Players guide a once-great civilization trying to survive a series of looming calamities and rebuild what is lost. Each round advances a shared progress track that triggers different phases—Disaster, Production, Industry, and Military—so players alternate between gaining resources, restoring territories, and engaging opponents. Disasters are resolved via a reverse-bidding mechanic: players pass resources into a pool until one player takes the disaster, suffering territory loss but acquiring the pooled resources and a new innovation that grants ongoing abilities. Scoring at game end counts intact territories plus points from innovations and military achievements, supporting multiple strategic paths to victory.
