The Ancient World (Second Edition)
Players lead rival city-states in a ruined world while recruiting citizens, managing treasury and military, and confronting enormous titans that roam the land. On each turn, players assign citizens to take special actions, build Empire cards to gain resources and abilities, or play military cards to attack titans; conquering titans and building Empire cards also grant tribe banners that boost influence. Influence is scored by collecting sets of tribe banners; after six rounds the player with the most victory points from banner sets wins. The game adds new titans, revised player boards and cards, and an extra resource, Ambrosia, that affects strategy.
