Nightmare Productions
Players assemble horror productions by bidding on tiles representing creatures, locations, directors, conductors, cameos and contractors and placing them on film-strip cards to satisfy each script’s requirements. Play proceeds over four rounds of rising auctions where players pay into a communal pot and passing players later share that pot, creating a closed economy that rewards timed bidding and resource management. Between auctions, two convention-style events offer free picks from shared offers. Points are scored for completed films, first-completed bonuses, best and worst productions, and awards for standout creatures, encouraging diversified strategies.
