Evergreen
Players build a lush ecosystem by planting seeds, growing trees, and placing natural features across a personal planet board. Each round players draft biome cards from a common pool to choose which region they develop; unchosen biomes increase in fertility and thus in future value. Trees, bushes, and lakes interact to form forests, generate resources, and trigger nature-based actions. Players spatially arrange trees to concentrate growth in fertile areas while avoiding overlap that reduces light collection.

Zina8.0 Un juego, que para su sencillez, está muy logrado, bien producido y es muy bonito. Un imprescindible en mi ludoteca.
Rules questions
Answered from the rulebook by Ludoya's rules assistant.
What happens to the cards nobody picks during the draft?
Unchosen cards are handled during cleanup — most go into the Fertility Zone, some are discarded, and any Aridity effects on those cards are applied when they are handled (Rulebook, p.7).
How many Actions can I take on my turn — can I plant and then grow again?
During the Actions & Powers phase you perform one Action; Planting (Plant Sprout) and Growth follow the specific rules for those actions and you may not take multiple separate Actions in the same phase (Rulebook, p.8).
Can I place a new tree in a space already occupied or replace someone else's tree when growing?
You cannot replace an existing tree with a new plant or growth — planting and growth cannot remove other trees, and placement must follow the space rules (including crevices) described in the rules (Rulebook, pp.8–9).
How exactly do shadows and light scoring work — how far do shadows reach and what blocks light?
At the Collect Light step the Sun casts shadows in a fixed direction and shadow length depends on tree size, with crevices, lakes, bushes, and sprouts interacting with shadows as shown in the examples; use the diagrams to count Light Points for each tree (Rulebook, pp.12–13).
How do Biome Powers and the Power track upgrades work — when can I use them and what changes when I upgrade?
You activate Biome Powers during the Actions & Powers phase and apply their effects immediately; advancing on the Power track upgrades that Biome’s effect according to the track and provides improved power effects (Rulebook, p.10; see Actions & Powers phase, p.8).
How is the Biggest Forest determined and scored at season end?
The Biggest Forest bonus is awarded at season end to the player who meets the criteria for the largest forest area as defined in the scoring rules; apply that bonus during the season scoring step (Rulebook, p.14).
