Fairy Tale
A fairy-themed card-drafting game that combines simultaneous selection with light tableau building. Over four rounds, players draft from five-card hands by choosing one card and passing the rest, repeating until each has five chosen cards. In a subsequent simultaneous play phase they select three cards to play and two to discard; revealed abilities can flip others’ cards face-up or face-down and otherwise affect opponents’ tableaux. After four rounds each player has a 12-card tableau and scores based on their face-up cards, with interaction centered on modifying which cards count for points.

Evan4.6 This is a basic drafting game where over the course of the game you draft four sets of five cards. In each hand of five, players simultaneously select, then reveal a card to play until you've played three of the five from the hand. Most of the card effects either look for other cards of specific types to qualify for scoring or they involve flipping or unflipping cards. It's cute, I don't know that it's more compelling than other lightweight drafting games like Tybor der Baumeister for example. It's somewhat odd to get a draft card turn 1 that won't score unless you find card X and card Y, when you won't see the whole deck of cards in a game. :star: Art, Iconography and components functional :star: Clever or interesting mechanisms :star: Reasonably low downtime between turns with mildly AP players :star: Multiple plays stay interesting :star: Low or mitigatable luck elements :star::nostar::nostar::nostar::nostar: Raw enjoyment
