Ishtar: Gardens of Babylon
Players act as gardeners attempting to transform a dry desert into a lush set of hanging gardens by planting flowers on a shared grid. Placing flower tiles creates connections that let players collect colored gems and trigger actions, while buying Trees blocks links between flower spots and scores points. Players draft and play tiles, recruit apprentices to score in established copses, collect gems to pay for Trees and upgrades, and choose upgrades that modify endgame scoring or in-game effects. The game emphasizes spatial placement, timing of gem collection, and tactical blocking of opponents.
