Jerusalem
Players take the roles of competing baronial families vying for control of 12th-century Jerusalem by placing Men and Barons into key city Sectors: the King, the Church, the Market, the Military, the Nobility and the Tower of David. Control of a Sector yields revenue—Men, Gold and Tower-Points—based on who has the most forces and the favors of important roles such as the Constable. Players spend resources to strengthen their position, manage special privileges and cope with adverse events that trigger at round end. After each round players may add floors to their family Tower; the highest Tower at game end determines the ruling family.

Garfield8.0 #17 It's a simple but clever area majority game. Clever is the auction and the order who places cubes first and last. First you think there is a runaway leader problem, but this can easily be stopped by the other players.
