Justinian: Intrigue at the Emperor's Court
Players compete for the favor of Emperor Justinian by placing and upgrading followers at court and bribing influential figures. Bribes come in four colors, and at the end of each turn one color is scored; only three of the four colors count each round, so timing and selection matter. Movement and placement of followers determine their clout in different court positions, while card play and resource management enable bribery and upgrades. The game resolves over repeated scoring rounds, with players tallying points from their most influential followers to determine final standing.
