San Marco
Players compete to score points by building influence in Venice’s districts using aristocrat tokens. Each round uses a draft-and-choose card distribution: some players divide drawn cards into piles and other players select which piles opponents receive. Action cards let players place and remove aristocrats, erect and relocate bridges, and trigger scoring of specific districts. Play proceeds over three Passages, each containing several turns, with scoring and tactical placement driving the race for control.

Tomol9.0 One of the best game for three people (better even than El Grande for three) It´s so beautiful. It becomes more strategic with Bruno Faidutti's Variants!!
Evan4.6 This is an interesting area control game that's really built for only 4 players. It has a three player mode, but there is a phase where half the players create piles of action cards that are available for other players to take. When you do 4 player, two players make two piles, but when you do 3 player, one player makes three piles, which can cause the game to drag. The components are great, and the gameplay is good. Many aspects of this game were re-appropriated for Feld's Rialto. They are reasonably different games however, so I wouldn't avoid this one if you already have an opinion of Rialto. What is it keeping this game from being great? Really, the downtime between turns is killer. Everyone sort of gets their turn being the one to create the action card piles, so if you have a player prone to analysis paralysis, it can be really killer. Other than that, the game is really fun.
