Noble houses vie for control of the throne amid escalating resentment and open conflict. Players take the role of influential family heads and play hidden action cards each round, then reveal and resolve them to gain influence or disrupt rivals. Cards provide a mix of tactical options—strength, intrigue, sabotage and reputation—that interact and chain as players respond to one another. The goal is to accumulate the most influence points for a family by the game's end. The set adds new incendiary actions that increase chaos and opportunities for revenge, and can be mixed with the base deck or used on its own.
