Players take the role of junior producers working under an influential Hollywood mogul, competing to become his heir by producing and releasing films. The game blends worker placement and set collection: players assign production assistants to gather assets, hire stars, acquire scripts and perform other tasks, then attach resources to film projects while respecting production order (shooting before post-production, etc.). Released films are premiered in different markets with distinct benefits; timing releases and matching trends can earn awards and influence income. A sympathy track from the boss determines budget and can unlock a second production line. Optional rules add a take-that dossier mechanic for more direct interaction.
