Nature
Players build and evolve animal species to grow populations in an ecosystem where food is limited and predators threaten survival. Each round is card-driven and split into an Adapting Phase—where cards are spent to increase population, grow body size, add trait cards, or be saved as food—and a Feeding Phase—where players attempt to feed their populations to score points. Traits modify foraging, defense, mobility, or predation, and body size/population interact with feeding and combat dynamics. A modular system lets players change the environment and add optional modules that alter mechanics and scenarios, creating different ecosystem combinations each play.
