Onitama: Big Box
In the mist-shrouded mountains of Japan, martial arts masters and their students gather at a shrine to test their skills in ritual combat. This two-player abstract game uses a 5x5 board, with each player commanding five pawns, including a main pawn. Players use movement cards to move their pieces and capture opposing pawns, exchanging each used card with a shared fifth card. Victory comes from capturing the opposing main pawn or reaching its starting space. The box includes three expansions: one adds a hidden-moving ninja, another introduces a neutral Wind Spirit, and a third provides 16 additional movement cards. Fourteen promo cards are also included.
