2023 · Abstract Strategy
Piazza
Players build a shared grid of coloured tiles, taking turns to place one tile at a time and expand the piazza. Scoring comes from creating patterns that trap or “sandwich” other tiles between tiles of the same colour, and from using opponents’ placements to form new scoring configurations. The board grows as players place tiles and score continuously; play ends when no tiles remain, and the player with the most points wins.
