2021 · Card Game
Radlands
Two rival survivor tribes clash in a post‑apocalyptic struggle to defend three camps from destruction. Players manage a shared deck of cards and a limited water resource to play people and events, use abilities, or discard cards for immediate “junk” effects. People defend camps and grant ongoing powers, while events provide strong, delayed effects. Play focuses on building potent card synergies, juggling water costs, and timing plays to destroy opposing camps before all three of one’s own are lost.

Vic Granell8.0 Very similar feeling to playing Magic TG but without the potential imbalance of land-spell cards (and the mana ramp as the game advances). Very enjoyable and easy to get to the table, especially with the mats in the deluxe version. Preliminary mark, might move a little.

Rules questions
Answered from the rulebook by Ludoya's rules assistant.
Can I use a person's ability the same turn I play them?
No — a person is not ready the turn it is played, so you cannot use its ability that turn unless a specific card or trait states otherwise (see “Play Card (Person)” and “Ready” rules, pg. 10–11). Some exceptions are noted in the People FAQ (e.g., Karli Blaze), see pg. 13.
Can Raiders damage a protected camp?
Yes — when the Raiders event resolves your opponent chooses one of their camps to be damaged and Raiders can damage camps even if they are protected (pg. 9).
Do damage icons hit cards that are 'behind' another card or otherwise protected?
Generally no — the damage icons can only hit unprotected cards unless an effect or card text explicitly says it ignores protection or targets “any/all” (pg. 13).
When do events resolve and when do events advance on the Events phase?
At the start of the Events phase resolve any event in your 1st space and discard it, then advance all events in your queue one space forward (pg. 9).
If an ability (like Cannon) destroys a player's last camp mid-resolution, who wins or loses and when?
You win immediately when you destroy your opponent’s last camp, and you lose immediately if an effect destroys your last camp — for example Cannon’s destruction causes an immediate loss before the ability completes (pg. 12–13).
