2013 · Party Game
Something Different
A party card game where the rules change throughout play. Each player starts with seven cards and attempts to empty their hand by playing cards onto one of three rule piles. The active rules determine which cards can be played and may also impose physical or speaking restrictions, such as keeping one hand on the table or talking like a pirate. Breaking a rule requires drawing a card. Additional cards introduce personal trivia, duels such as thumb wars and staring contests, and events that swap hands, seats, or the direction of play. Duels and other challenges take place while the game continues.
