Players race through a colorful platform zone by building the track as they go, laying terrain tiles to extend the course and create shortcuts or hazards. Characters move along the modular track, collect Flicky Birds as victory points, use item cards to boost speed, heal damage, or impede rivals, and manage positioning to grab bonuses and avoid traps. Play is fast-paced and episodic, with player turns resolving movement, tile placement, and item effects until one player reaches the win condition for collected Flickies.
