2022 · Card Game
Flamecraft
Players act as caretakers of artisan dragons, placing them in compatible shops and using gathered resources to cast enchantments that improve those shops. On each turn, players visit shops to collect items and claim a dragon’s favor; items are spent to enchant shops, which grants reputation and activates the dragons’ benefits. Dragons specialize in different outputs (bread, meat, iron, crystal, plant, potion), and players match dragon types to ideal shop homes to maximize gains. The game scores via reputation earned from enchanting shops and attracting rarer dragons; the player with the most reputation wins.

Rules questions
Answered from the rulebook by Ludoya's rules assistant.
When I Gather from a shop, do I also get the goods from the dragons and enchantments on that shop?
Yes — when you Gather you gain the shop’s top‑left reward and 1 Good from each Artisan Dragon and each Enchantment at that Shop, plus any Coins or Dragons shown (p.7).
If a card’s top‑left lets me pick a Good, can I choose Coins instead?
No — Coins are not Goods, so when you gain a Good of your choice you may not choose Coins (p.7).
Do I have to fill a shop’s dragon slots left‑to‑right, or can I place a Dragon in any matching empty slot?
You may place a Dragon in any empty slot whose icon matches the Dragon (slots do not need to be filled left‑to‑right); after placing you immediately gain the printed reward for that slot (p.8).
If I place the last Dragon in a shop, do I reveal a new shop right away?
When you place a Dragon in the last empty slot you draw a new Shop and place it facedown into Town immediately, but you flip (reveal) any new Shops you drew at the end of your turn (pp.8, 12).
Can I use a Shop’s special ability when I Enchant that Shop instead of when I Gather?
No — you may only use a Shop’s ability when you Gather from that Shop; you may not use it as part of Enchanting (p.9).
How many Artisan Dragons and Goods can I keep at the end of my turn?
At end of turn you must return Dragons and Goods until you have no more than 6 Artisan Dragons in hand and no more than 7 tokens of each Goods type; Coins and Fancy Dragons have no limit (p.12).
