The End of the Triumvirate

A game for 2-3 players that mixes eurogame and war game. Players take the roles of Roman leaders competing for control through military, political, or personal advancement. Each turn, provinces provide gold or legions, characters move to gather resources or attack, and actions allow players to persuade citizens, produce weapons, or improve military and political competence. The game ends when a player is elected consul twice, conquers a ninth province, or reaches the highest level in both competences.
