Tokyo Highway
Players build an elevated highway network by stacking short pillars and connecting them with stick-like road sections to create multi-level roadways. When a newly placed road passes over or under existing roads, the active player may set their plastic car(s) onto those intersections; routing a road to both go over and under elsewhere lets a player place two cars. Yellow connector pillars let players match column heights and branch roadways for more complex layouts. The first player to place all of their cars wins. This edition includes additional building obstacles and components for up to four players.

Evan7.2 This is a 3 dimensional abstract game where you try to be the first player to place your cars out on your structure. You start with a single column piece and a Popsicle stick leaning on it and the table at an angle, with one of your cars resting on it to mark is as yours. Each turn you add one new Popsicle stick expanding out from your last column, which connects to a new column made up of one more or one fewer pieces in a stack from your previous placement. You get to place a car out if your stick goes over an opponent's stick that has no other sticks above or, or a point for going under an opponent's stick that has no other sticks below it. It's a fantastic experience with both long term planning and tactical elements. There are some dexterity elements as well. If you knock over some of your opponent's pieces, then you have to give them pieces from your supply. Running out of pieces is a loss condition, so you need to be careful. Additionally, if you run your line too high you spend your pieces faster than your opponents, so you might get more points, but you might also run yourself out of the game. ★ Art, Iconography and components functional ★ Clever or interesting mechanisms ★ Reasonably low downtime between turns with mildly AP players ★ Multiple plays stay interesting ★ Low or mitigatable luck elements ★★★☆☆ Raw enjoyment
