Tortuga 2199
Players take the role of pirate captains vying for control of a lawless mining world and its surrounding sectors. Build and customize a ship deck-by-deck, recruit crew, and equip upgrades to improve capabilities. Explore a modular planetary map, confront hostile fauna and other captains in combat, and attempt boarding actions to seize resources and influence. Area-control and influence mechanics track which pirate clans back each captain; gaining territory, defeating space beasts, and successful raids increase standing. Components include ship miniatures, tokens, counters, and a large card pool for deck-building and events.
