Undaunted: Normandy
Players command American or German forces across a series of WWII missions set in Normandy, advancing through map tiles and contested terrain. Play uses a deck-building system where cards are spent to activate troops, move units, attack, or deploy reinforcements; casualties permanently remove cards from a player’s deck. Dice and tokens resolve combat and special effects as players vie for control of objectives across linked scenarios.

Muy buen juego, fácil de jugar y sorprendentemente táctico
Rules questions
Answered from the rulebook by Ludoya's rules assistant.
Do I have to play the matching unit card to activate its counter?
Yes — to take a unit’s card action you must play one of that unit’s combat cards; command cards are not tied to combat counters. If the counter isn’t on the board when you play its combat card, place it on the spawn marker and then perform the action (pp. 4–5, 11).
Can I play Fog of War cards during my turn or use them for actions?
No — Fog of War cards cannot be played as actions; they can only be used to bid for initiative and are removed from the game by a Scout’s Recon action (pp. 5, 11, 13).
My unit is suppressed — can I flip it up and act anyway?
No — when you would take an action with a suppressed unit you flip its counter to the ready side but you do not take the action; suppressed units can still hunker down (which does not flip them) (p. 11).
When I hit a unit, which card(s) must my opponent remove as a casualty?
You remove exactly one card of the attacked unit and the opponent must choose from that unit in this order: hand, then discard, then deck (shuffling the deck if cards are removed from it); only if no card exists anywhere is the combat counter removed (pp. 14–15).
When do I reshuffle my discard pile into my deck?
Whenever you need to draw and your deck is empty you shuffle your discard pile to form a new deck; do not shuffle cards from your play area into the deck (pp. 10, 23).
Can I take control of a tile that has an enemy combat counter on it?
No — you cannot take control of a tile while an enemy combat counter occupies that tile; Scout places control markers on scouted tiles and Control flips a marker to the controlled side if the tile isn’t occupied by an enemy (pp. 12–13, 16).
