A cooperative campaign set in an ever-changing enchanted forest where fairy-tale characters move toward a common goal while confronting shifting threats. Players use flippable cards, dice, and a magnetic chip tracker to resolve movement, encounters, combat, and bribery as card faces and board state change. The core box includes a complete ruleset, a themed deck that introduces the Tanglewoods mechanics, 20 dice, and a magnetic tracker, enabling immediate play. After learning the Tanglewoods deck, players can mix in other compatible decks to vary encounters and objectives.
