A Column of Fire
Players take on the roles of rival powers in late 16th-century Europe during the reign of Elizabeth I, maneuvering Catholics and Protestants across England, France, Spain and the Netherlands. The game uses agents, secret missions, rebellions, assassinations and military moves to shift influence and control territories. Play focuses on allocating resources, deploying operatives, and reacting to changing political conditions as factions gain or lose power. Victory goes to the side that best exploits opportunities for tolerance or repression and secures the most influence by the end of the game.

Garfield2,0 37 Playtested only. It just feels very flat. Every turn doing almost the exact same thing. Collecting goods that you can sell somewhere. And it's quite unpredictable. Too complicated for what it is. Purple and brown dice are almost undistinguishable. Not very userfriendly iconography.
