Ars Magica (4th Edition)

Set in Mythic Europe in 1220, the game combines medieval conflict, religious authority, folklore, and pervasive supernatural forces. Players portray magi of the Order of Hermes, researching arcane knowledge and wielding powerful magic, while also taking the roles of their loyal companions and grogs. Together, these characters maintain a covenant, manage relationships with the mundane world, and face faeries, spirits, demons, and other forces shaped by the beliefs of the age.
