Players trade and negotiate using bean cards and promises of future favors rather than immediate payment. The expansion adds new contract and favor mechanics that let players make deals, record obligations, and call in or collect on those favors as the game progresses. It integrates with the base deck and gameplay, requiring a compatible core game to use the new trading options. Players still plant, harvest, and score beans while managing the social and timing aspects of promises and owed favors.
