Factory Funner

Players act as factory managers who draft machines each round and place them into a grid-style factory. Machines have input and output pipes that must be connected to reservoirs or other machines using connector tiles; reservoirs and connectors each cost money while new machines generate revenue. Selection is simultaneous from a pool of available machines, encouraging quick choice and spatial planning to preserve future connection options. Play runs eight rounds; scoring is total money after accounting for build costs and machine income.

Wow, this was quite different than anything else I have played (in a good way). It is not a game where you can leave a newbie to fend for themselves & requires a good deal of supervision and potential hand-holding on part of the experienced players at the table so as to avoid illegal plays. I do love the core puzzle and absolutely loved the bold new art & aesthetic however I feel the design for inputs vs outputs and numbers vs dots could be more intuitive and would go a long way in internalizing the visuals better so as to be able to focus on the puzzle & with speed.
