Players take the roles of acolytes of the Holy Inquisition sent to investigate Chaos cultists in Gunmetal City on Scintilla. With their information compromised and their Inquisitor unreachable, they must decide whether to complete the mission, pursue personal agendas, or settle old scores. The game is a collaborative storytelling experience in which players create characters, relationships, and motives, then play out scenes using dice to shape their outcomes. Plans unravel, loyalties shift, and the story develops through escalating misfortune and darkly comic consequences.
