Shipbuilding, vessel types, sea travel, trade, and ship-to-ship combat support maritime play, alongside background on pirates and privateers. A linked mini-campaign on the Spanish Main includes missions involving a dangerous voyage, a fragmented treasure map, a rescue complicated by a voodoo curse, and intrigue in a Spanish port city.
