Maquis

Lead a small French resistance cell during the occupation, carrying out sabotage, propaganda, and other missions against occupying forces. This is a solo worker-placement game: place agents around town to attempt tasks like blowing up trains or distributing underground newspapers while patrols of collaborators and soldiers move across the map. Agents who fail to return to the safe house at day’s end are removed from play. Variable goals change each session and a typical game lasts about twenty minutes.

Întrebări despre reguli

Răspunsuri din regulament de la asistentul de reguli Ludoya.

How many Patrols get placed each Day — do I use the Morale number or the number of my available Workers?

The number of Patrols equals the higher of your available Resistance Workers or the red Patrol number shown on the current Morale space — use whichever is larger (page 4).

When a Patrol card lists three Locations, do I try them in order, and what if all three are occupied?

Yes — try the first Location, then the second, then the third; if all three are occupied the Patrol attempts an arrest at the first Location occupied by a Resistance Worker, and if all three are occupied by Patrol pawns the Patrol is not placed that Day (page 5).

Can I activate the same Worker more than once in a Day or spend Resources I just gained?

No — each Resistance Worker may be activated at most once per Day for a single action, but Resources gained earlier that Day may be spent later that same Day (page 6).

If a Mission card shows dashed action rectangles, do I have to be on the Mission card to complete those objectives?

Dashed rectangles mean the objective must be completed by placing the Worker at another Location specified by the card text (so the action is taken elsewhere); mission action successes are marked and numbered successes must be completed in order, and the mission is only complete when all rectangles are marked (pages 7–8).

What happens if my Worker can’t trace a route back to a Safe House — are they arrested and do they lose rewards?

If a Worker cannot trace a clear route along white roads back to a Safe House they are arrested and removed from the game permanently; you only receive the action’s rewards if that Location shows an orange shield with a star, otherwise the Worker brings nothing home (page 8).
