Posthuman

Players take the roles of the last human survivors making a solitary trek toward a promised safe house across a reclaimed, tile-based landscape. The map is revealed through ten randomly generated zones as players move, encounter other survivors, and confront posthuman mutants. Encounters and combat can inflict scars that track a character’s loss of humanity; accumulating scars shifts a character toward mutation and unlocks different choices and abilities. Victory conditions hinge on whether a player reaches the safe house while retaining humanity or succumbs to mutation and joins the posthuman, affecting everyone’s chances to win.
