Scythe: The Rise of Fenris

Adds an eight-episode campaign that continues the core conflict across linked plays, introducing persistent unlocks, surprises, and a resettable conclusion that spans multiple sessions. Also offers eleven modular options that can be mixed and matched instead of—or after—the campaign, including a fully cooperative module and compatibility with existing expansions. Components include new plastic miniatures, wooden tokens, custom dice, tiles and numerous cardboard tokens, plus an episodic guidebook and hidden-content boxes that reveal mechanics as the campaign progresses.

Întrebări despre reguli

Răspunsuri din regulament de la asistentul de reguli Ludoya.

Do my coins carry over from one episode to the next?

Your Wealth carries over only as a campaign resource for buying things such as Mods and Perks; it is not added to your starting coins. Each episode, start with the coins on your player mat plus any Setup Bonuses, and only the final episode’s coins count toward the campaign winner (p. 3).

Do we keep the same faction and player mat throughout the campaign?

Keep the same faction unless the rules say otherwise, but randomize player mats for every episode. If you change factions, carry over everything on your Campaign Log (p. 3).

Can I change my Mech Mods during an episode, or do I have to use every one I own?

Choose which Mech Mods to use during setup; you may leave some or all of them unused. Once the episode begins, you cannot rearrange them. Infrastructure Mods are also set out during setup, and each can be used once per game, only at its stated trigger (pp. 6–7).

In Episode 1, do I get an Influence token for every star I place?

No. Take a token from the Triumph Track only if you are the first player to place a star in that category; the two combat categories count separately. At the episode’s end, each player also gets one token, then everyone votes on War or Peace by secretly placing tokens in a hand (pp. 14–15).

When I move into Fenris agents, is that a combat, and can I move on afterward?

It is not combat: draw one combat card per agent, then pay power, coins, and/or popularity equal to the cards’ total. If you can afford the cost, you must pay it to subdue the agents; your movement ends there, and you do not earn a combat star (p. 24).

Does winning an episode win the whole campaign, and when does an episode end?

The campaign winner is the winner of the final episode, not necessarily the winner of an earlier one. An episode normally ends when a player places their sixth star, unless that episode lists another end condition—for example, Episode 4 also ends when all eight Fenris agents are subdued (pp. 3, 14, 24).
