Shipwrights of the North Sea

Players act as Viking shipwrights in the early Viking Age, gathering oak, wool and iron, recruiting craftsmen and managing gold to construct ships and buildings. Play proceeds over repeated days: draw cards in the morning, take actions and play or discard cards in the afternoon, then collect gold and workers in the evening. Victory Points come from completed ships and structures; the game ends after a player builds their fourth ship. Gameplay combines resource management, worker placement and card play while interacting with a cast of township characters who offer opportunities and obstacles.

And because it has several 'take that' actions in it, it takes longer and longer because you destroy something of your opponent. Card drafting is too much luck and for my taste there are way too many ships in it.
