Daimyos compete for political dominance, military strength, and imperial legitimacy in feudal Japan. Each player leads an asymmetric clan while a young heir sits at the center of shifting power. Players select actions from a River-style track, where unchosen actions grow stronger over time. They harvest income, move armies, develop territories, recruit forces, and gain influence through diplomacy. The game rewards careful timing and a balance of economic growth, military power, and political influence.
