The Big Hoodoo

A Lovecraftian noir roleplaying adventure set in 1950s California, following the explosive death of rocket scientist and occultist Jack Parsons. Players take the roles of figures from the era’s science fiction scene as they investigate leads across Pasadena, Los Angeles, the Mojave Desert, and the surrounding mountains. The investigation exposes charlatanism, occult intrigue, and Mythos menace. The adventure includes brief biographical backgrounds for its investigators, options for additional characters, and a rules-light magic system inspired by Enochian magick. It is suited to a convention one-shot or a short series of two or three sessions.
