The Constable (fan expansion for Carcassonne)

The Constable is a special unit that can remove Robbers from Roads of Carcassonne. It is placed only on a road containing a Robber, removing that meeple without scoring the road, and remains there until the end of the game. The Constable is unaffected by the tower but can be eaten by the dragon, after which it returns to its owner’s supply. At game end, it scores the normal value of the road, with additional points for connected cities and cloisters. Roads with a Constable do not count toward the longest road or the Robber Captain.
