War at Sea

A streamlined World War II naval wargame that models convoy escorting, surface actions, and submarine warfare across six sea areas covering the Atlantic and Mediterranean. Players allocate ships from home ports to one or more sea areas each turn, then resolve battles through repeated combat rounds until one side retreats or is eliminated. Control of an area after combat yields Points of Control, while surviving U-boats can remain submerged to deny Allied control. The Allied side must also attempt to escort convoys to England or Russia for additional points, with a Russia-bound convoy worth substantially more.
