The Borbarad invasion has taken Tobrien from the Empire, but some settlements continue to resist under imperial loyalty and devotion to the Twelve Gods. Acting on behalf of the Church of Rondra, the players travel through a devastated province where poisonous fruit grows on the trees, rivers carry foul water, and former neighbors turn against one another. They aid the remaining resistance in a land cut off from hope and sunlight.
