Ascension: Valley of the Ancients

Players build personal decks by spending Runes to acquire new cards and defeat monsters, aiming to earn the most Honor Points. Each turn players draw and play cards from their deck to generate resources, recruit heroes, gain powerful constructs, and vanquish threats from the center row. This version adds a temple-control element: three temple cards represent Life, Death, and Immortality. Players collect keystones to claim or steal temples, creating a race for long-term scoring and shifting control as decks evolve.
