Idus Martii

Players sit as Roman senators divided between factions that either seek or oppose the assassination of Caesar, with some seeking only personal gain. Each round a Consul assigns roles: two Edils secretly vote on Caesar’s fate and a Praetor may inspect or alter an Edil’s vote. Players are dealt two team cards at the start and must discard one before the second vote, forcing a private choice between loyalties. Rounds resolve by revealing votes to determine whether Caesar lives or dies while players deduce allies and double agents through role actions and voting history.
